Kirk and Nora's Wedding
This bright, fun and happy wedding was on the 5th May, 2012 at the Barbados Yacht Club. Nora and Kirk invited 100 of their closest friends and family to be with them on this special day in Barbados. Their guests traveled from Trinidad and Canada to watch them exchange vows. Their personal ceremony was held on the white sandy beach with the beautiful calm ocean setting the perfect background for their vows.
Nora opted to go for a tropical and bright colour theme as you can see in her bouquet. She actually fell in love with a previous bouquet which was designed for another bride but we customized it for her by incorporating both tropical and imported flowers. Her delicate hand tied bouquet consisted of canary yellow calla lilies, fuchsia roses, purple and lilac orchids. It was a stunning pop of colour which worked exceptionally well with the location and her personality.
After the beach ceremony, the wedding party made their way to the club house where they sipped on Bajan inspired cocktails, those being rum punch and Banks beer of course and snacked on canapes whilst enjoying the local sounds of steel pan. The dinner tables were adorned with round fish bowls filled with the same tropical flowers as Nora's bouquet and tall willow and orchids added that dramatic element. For dinner, the couple decided to serve a Bajan buffet which was delicious and loved by all the guests.
This wedding was definitely a fun filled one as the bride, groom and guests danced the night away and enjoyed every minute of it!
