We have all heard the term- "Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue." This is a traditional phrase where each token from the poem represents good luck for the bride. Today we are going to focus on the last end of the poem - "Something Blue." The colour blue has been connected with weddings for centuries. For example, in ancient Rome, brides wore blue to symbolize love and also blue is associated with Christianity to mean purity as the virgin Mary was dressed in blue.
